Play Group, also known as preschool, is an educational program designed for children typically between the ages of 2 and 3 years old. It serves as an introduction to formal schooling and focuses on providing a nurturing environment where young children can develop essential skills and prepare for kindergarten and beyond. It is our belief that young children learn best by interacting with the world around them through play and appropriate instruction that is fun and engaging.

Our program often incorporate activities to promote language and literacy skills, such as storytelling, rhyming games, vocabulary-building activities, and early writing experiences and basic numeracy concepts such as counting, sorting, matching, and recognizing shapes and patterns. These activities lay the foundation for future literacy development and language acquisition.
The recommended age for pre-nursery admission is typically between 2.5 to 3.5 years. A general admission test of child and parents is conducted, before getting enrolled the child.
Prior to child’s first day of school, parents will be invited to attend an orientation session where they can learn more about the school’s policies, procedures, and expectations for parents.
We offer a transition period, which involve shortening the duration of initial sessions or allowing parents to stay with their child until they feel comfortable.
Throughout the admission process and beyond, communication between the playgroup staff and parents is essential. We provide ongoing updates, newsletters to parents.
